Your spreadsheet CRM is holding you back.
Google Sheets, Notion tables and Airtable bases work well for one person. They break the moment a second person touches them, and they have no memory of why a deal is where it is. Importing into Michi takes under five minutes.
Six things a spreadsheet cannot do.
01
Breaks at two or more people
The second your co-founder edits a row you are editing, you lose the update. There is no activity log, no owner, and no history of who changed what.
02
No institutional memory
The reason that grant is in column H is locked in someone’s head. When they leave or take a week off, the context goes with them.
03
No automatic reminders
Grant deadlines do not remind you. Pilots gone quiet do not flag themselves. You have to remember to check the sheet, and you will forget.
04
No cross-record context
Contacts live in one tab, companies in another, deals in a third. Nothing shows you that the three people at Mass General are linked to the same pilot.
05
No AI layer
A spreadsheet cannot brief you before a meeting, draft a follow-up, or tell you that this investor backed two competitors last quarter.
06
No access control
Anyone with the link sees everything. No row-level security, no audit log, and no way to share a subset without copying it into another tab.
Import in three steps.
01
Export your data as CSV
From Google Sheets: File → Download → CSV. From Notion: Export → CSV. From Airtable: Grid view → Download CSV. From Excel: File → Save As → CSV.
02
Paste or upload into Michi
Go to any empty state, Companies, Contacts or Investors, and choose "Paste from spreadsheet". Upload the CSV or paste directly. Michi detects the columns.
03
Review and confirm
Michi shows a preview: how many rows it found, which columns mapped to which fields, and any rows missing required data. Confirm to import.
Everything that matters, and its fields.
01
Contacts
Name, email, phone, title, company, LinkedIn URL, custom tags.
02
Companies
Name, website, country, industry type, stage, notes.
03
Deals and opportunities
Name, stage, value, close date, owner, associated company.
04
Investors
Fund name, partner name, stage focus, check size, portfolio notes.
